Development Round
At the Ministerial Conference in Doha in November 2001, WTO members
decided to launch a new round of trade negotiations, which is generally
referred to as the Development Round. This section pays attention
to the economic literature that specifically deals with this round
of trade negotiations.
On 21 February 2002 the UK Department for International Development
(DFID) organised a conference on what would make the next trade
round a true Development Round. DFID prepared an informal consultation
paper on this topic, which can be downloaded below.
