The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) in Finland
consists of various departments, one of which is the Department of

The contents of Finnish Development Co-operation
can be found in two important publications. The first publication is
the Government
Decision of Principle of 1996, which gives a good overview of
the goals of and motivations for development co-operation and of
ways to achieve these goals.
In October 1998 an overall
policy of Finnish relations with developing countries was
published.
