Development co-operation: The Netherlands
The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs is responsible
for the co-ordination and implementation of Dutch Foreign Policy.
The key objectives of Dutch Foreign Policy are to promote the
international order, to promote international peace, security and
stability, European integration, to reduce poverty in developing
countries and to maintain and foster good bilateral
relationships.

Since 1965, there has been a separate Minister for
Development Co-operation. This Minister does not have a separate
Ministry however. The Minister is responsible for the preparation
and implementation of development co-operation.
